The Guildhall Project
Opening Spring 2021, the nineteenth century Guildhall has been restored and repurposed to serve as the Eastern Gateway to the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape. A fantastic way to begin your journey through the Tamar Valley.
Originally one of England’s first purpose built police stations and magistrate court, this beautiful building, an important part of Tavistock’s landscape, has been conserved inside and out following Lottery Heritage funding.
A unique World Heritage Site, interpretation centre and Visitor Information Centre, the Guildhall also has a variety of spaces for hire and a varied programme of events and activities all year round.
