The White Hart Hotel is situated within the 12 century walled town of Launceston, capital of Cornwall until 1838. It is situated in the town square and has grown up almost within the shadow of Launceston Castle walls. Entry to the hotel is through the Norman doorway removed from a local priory many years ago.
The hotel is now under new ownership and the plan is to refurbish all rooms to give it a new lease of life. There are 22 rooms, each with it own character whilst having en suite facilities.
The hotel welcomes families, business clients, golf breaks and lone travellers.
As well as being a hotel, The White Hart offers all day food in the 2 bars and in the restaurant. There is also a large function room ideal for any events, large or small.
The staff are friendly and will always do their best to give you excellent service.
The hotel is conveniently placed to the A30, giving easy access to either west Cornwall or to Plymouth and Exeter and also within easy reach of all the attractions that the Tamar Valley has to offer: beaches, stately homes, gardens and much more.
