The White Hart, Chilsworthy traditional free house, good beer, good food and good company !
Ian and Amy would like to extend a warm welcome to customers old and new. New owners Ian and Amy, are excited about the prospect of establishing the White Hart as a must visit destination for good beer and delicious food in the Tamar Valley. There has been a public house on this site since the 16th Century and, despite being burned down twice, the pub is still flourishing.
We strive to offer all that is good in a traditional country Free House. We have a passion for real ale and have a good selection of 5 beers that vary on a regular basis. Please note, we do not sell Doom or Tribute here. We offer a warm welcome with a smile. And all with stunning views over the Tamar Valley.
We offer a flexible menu with daily specials. Food is available every lunchtime and evening (except Sunday). All meat and vegetables on our menu are from local suppliers when available. Fresh Looe fish is on Monday evenings and our carvery is on a Sunday 12-3. Booking is essential.
Special Events – live music, quizzes, etc.
We are happy to discuss hosting your own special celebrations in our function room.
