Wooladon House. Sleeps 14. Wooladon House is a stunning detached country residence offering a high degree of style and comfort. Located in the middle of the Wooladon Estate, the house is perfect for an extended family to spend a week’s holiday or as the ideal destination for a group of friends wishing to celebrate a special occasion. With extensive living space, there is plenty of room for everyone to share and unwind, whilst enjoying the quiet location of the property. There are seven beautiful bedrooms with most benefiting from en-suite bathrooms. The large garden with its own ponds is ideal for an early morning coffee, or to enjoy alfresco dining on a warm summer’s evening – why not relax in our garden hot tub? The house is located just outside the village of Lifton with the owners living nearby.
The three luxury converted barns each have en-suite facilities. The outside space leads to a garden area with BBQ.
The Rookery (sleeps 6 to 8). Located within the heart of the complex and the largest of our barns, The Rookery offers a spacious open plan sitting room with stunning views over the communal lawns and beyond to the beautiful woods and countryside. The house is split level with the entrance to the living area and master bedroom on ground level with a further two bedrooms downstairs. You get a real sense of community at Wooladon Farm, yet with enough space to go off and do your own thing.
Pheasant Barn. (sleeps 4 to 6). A superbly presented barn conversion on one level with two bedrooms, a spacious open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen. Facilities include a big screen TV with Freeview and DVD, integrated electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine, natural daylight with large windows overlooking communal lawn and countryside beyond, oil fired central heating
Gatherley View (sleeps 4). This two bedroom cottage is a real gem. Entry is up a small flight of outside stairs leading to a covered porch which opens into a spacious open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area. Leading off from the living area are the two double bedrooms. The entire accommodation is on one level. All equipment is provided.
All properties’ costs include bed linen and towels. (towels for hot tub are provided)
The award winning farm shop is ideal if you don’t fancy cooking breakfast and also serves great lunches and afternoon teas. The village also has a pub and local convenience shop.
The estate is located just outside the village of Lifton with its award-winning Strawberry Fields Farm Shop and Restaurant (same owners as Wooladon Estate) which is open every day. With freshly made bread, pasties, pies butchery, freshly picked vegetables, a deli counter full of local chesses, it really is a perfect place to find local fresh ingredients and truly homemade meals. They will even arrange for meals to be delivered to your door! The owners live nearby in the village.
The picturesque and awe inspiring Dartmoor National Park is just a short drive, offering some of the finest scenes and a vast selection of walks and bridleways suitable for all abilities. The farm is bordered by the river Tamar and the river Lyd offering excellent fishing for brown trout, sea trout and salmon. Sandwiched between the market towns of Tavistock and Launceston, both steeped in history and must sees when in this part of the world. Centrally located both the north and south coasts are reached within an hour and both offer a fine selection of beaches, quaint villages and stunning coastline.
